Parties can be a stressful time for both the parents and the children, so here are some easy ways to keep the party mood festive. You already half way there with booking an entertainer through Adventure Box Kids. This seems like a lot of things but we want to make sure all the bases are covered to ensure a fun, safe, successful party for everyone!

Bouncy Castles

Bouncy castles are a huge novelty. We recommend that you deflate it while the entertainer is there. We are very good at what we do, however sometimes we can’t get everyone’s attention & we do not accept responsibility for continued bouncing.
Face Painting & Glitter Tattoo’s
Face Painting & Glitter Tattoo’s
Good things take time, so do our face painting and tattoo’s. We want to make sure everyone gets a turn so we allow for 1 glitter tattoo or one face paint per child. These can only be applied with parent’s express consent so do ask parents in advance if they are ok with their child’s face being painted.
We are unable to entertain the children while we are face painting or applying tattoo’s. The music will be on & the children will have time to come in and greet other party friends/guests before we start the dancing and games. We need to pack up our sparkles once finished to avoid temptation from the little ones & this only takes time away from your booking. Let us finish & then move on so that we know who has been given a tattoo or face paint & who hasn’t.

We all love to pick at the party food, but make sure the kids can’t while they are dancing. When you see the pass the parcel come out then you know there is around 15min till the end of the party. Your entertainer will get the kids to sit down at the end and give out magical glitter so they will be ready for you to take over. Your entertainer will direct the kids one at a time to go and sit at the table / collect their lunch so there is no mad rush.

We reserve the right to change entertainers & shuffle our team to support parties & skills in the event of illness. Please note that we will do our best to inform you in advance and provide exactly what has been booked. We reserve the right to use some of our very special friends who own their own companies to provide parties for you in the event of sickness from the Adventure Box Kids team. They are very highly qualified individuals & Adventure Box kids only ever uses the best.
Our equipment
Our Equipment
Our equipment can cost in excess of £800 & any breakages can effect our other birthday parties that weekend. Please be aware that our gear are not toys & the children are asked not to play with the equipment. We will always aim to keep an eye out but we will usually be very busy entertaining. We know this is asking alot especially with little ones around so if we all keep an eye out things run much smoother.
We set our bags out to make sure that the party runs smoothly & we know what goes where. Any breakages that occur will be charged back to the party organiser after the event.

Our role on the day is to entertain your lovely little guests. We are unable to be in sole charge of the children due to safeguarding and insurance limitations so please ensure that there are a minimum of two additional adults in the room with us at all times.

Please note that we are 5* entertainers with over 7 years of positive party reviews from happy customers. We are however only human & sometimes things break no matter how many times we test them. We always bring human powered bubbles & extra equipment in the event that something breaks down.

They are wonderful things, but they are also very distracting and can pop easily. Keep them tied up or in a corner for the kids to play with after the entertainer has left.

It is great to see everyone coming together to celebrate and enjoy the wonderful party. Sometimes parents can be a bit distracting for the kids. If they are going to stay in the same room then encourage the mum’s and dad’s to join in as much as possible. If they are going to be staying, then chatting around the party tends to make more noise than the children; they are welcome to leave the entertainer to it.

We hand balloons out at the end of the party to avoid popping when booking the balloons as an extra. Please be aware that in the event that the children are playing with the balloons & one pops we do not allow time for making two per child. Our timing is very tight & we do a lot at our parties. We reserve the right to not make a second balloon if timing doesn’t allow.

Very important! Please do let us know as soon as you do about increases in numbers. We plan well in advance to ensure we have enough gear with the right entertainer for your party. We might need to get an assistant on board if your numbers increase too much – so keep it in mind. We want to make sure everyone has the same props and the party runs smoothly.

We have entertained at over 400 parties each, so we know kids & we know how to keep them occupied.
1hr Party- 15 mins glitter tattoos + 45 mins music/dancing and games.
1.5hr Party = 30min tattoo’s + 1hr dance & games.
2hr Gold Party = 30min Face Painting or glitter tattoos + 1hr Dance & Games, then Break for lunch/tea 15 mins finishing with 15 mins of pass the parcel, Happy Birthday, disco and bubbles.
When planning the food for the party we have planned to ensure the children do not get sick after eating. We ask that you wait for the full 1.5hrs to break for food so that we can flow the party perfectly. Breaking activities doesn’t work with kids so we like to finish a section of the party before moving on.
We love celebrating kids birthday’s however please do note that our time is very precious. We want to fit all sorts of fun things into the party, including happy birthday! So make sure if you would like to do the cake that we finish 10 min early to sing and take some pictures.
Soft Play

We love a good soft play, but we are unable to entertain on soft mats or near the ball pit. Please note that when setting up the room we need to be to the side.
Space
Space
Parties require a wee bit of room to move and wiggle. Make sure there is a clear space for all the children to sit comfortably in a circle. Health and safety first for your wee ones!
